Piedmont, Italy

Founded in 1923 by Antonio Viberti, nestled in the enchanting hills of Barolo, Viberti winery started as a modest trattoria with a small vineyard, where Antonio’s passion for winemaking took root. Today, it stands as a testament to nearly a century of dedication, where tradition and innovation blend seamlessly to produce some of the finest wines in Piedmont.

At the heart of Viberti is a commitment to authenticity and quality, values passed down through the Viberti family. Gianbattista Viberti, Antonio’s grandson, now oversees the operations, ensuring that each bottle carries the family’s passion and meticulous attention to detail. The vineyards, sprawling across the sun-kissed slopes of Barolo, are cultivated with sustainable practices, respecting the land that has provided for the family for decades. The careful tending of the vines, combined with the unique terroir of the Langhe region, results in grapes of exceptional quality, the cornerstone of Viberti’s renowned wines.

Stepping into the Viberti cellar is like entering a sanctuary of winemaking. Here, tradition meets technology in the most harmonious way. The aging process, conducted in a combination of large oak barrels and modern stainless-steel tanks, allows the wines to develop their characteristic complexity and depth. Each vintage is a labor of love, a reflection of the seasons, the soil, and the soul of the Viberti family.
