A bottle of Stéphane Magnien Coteaux Bourguignons Pinot Noir 2022 wine

Domaine Stephane Magnien 2022 Coteaux Bourguignons "Pur Pinot Noir"

Burgundy, France $30

While visiting Domaine Stephane Magnien, Stéphane explained to me the Coteaux designation for Pinot Noir can be a blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay grapes. His “Pur Pinot Noir” is 100% Pinot Noir: an elegant, beautiful red Burgundy from Morey-Saint-Denis. My go-to French red and a University Wines best seller.

100% Merlot, biodynamic, great vintage, and Gordon’s favorite table red. Mature, balanced, tasty Bordeaux which drinks very well despite its youth.

A bottle of il rose di casanova la spinetta wine

La Spinetta 2022 Il Rosé Di Casanova

Such a pleasant rosé. It has a floral and fruity bouquet with hints of citrus. On the palate, it is wonderfully fresh and delicate with a satisfying minerality.

A bottle of bourgogne côte d’or, sylvain dussort cuvee des ormes, vintage 2021

Domaine Sylvain Dussort 2021 Cuvée des Ormes

Bourgogne Côte-d'Or, France $35

I met Anne-Caroline when visiting this domaine, who has taken over for her father. While tasting her wines, she told me this hand harvested white Burgundy is their flagship wine. It’s an excellent vintage which is delicate, rich and elegant with good length.

A bottle of Leménil Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Vintage 2008 Champagne

A bottle of Sancerre les Fossiles wine, vintage 2022, by Domaine Philippe Raimbault.

Philippe Rambault 2022 Sancerre Les Fossiles

Grapefruit and lemon flavors with a vivid acidity and complexity. This vintage drinks wonderfully now.
